Rhonda Bear is the Founder and Director of 11 women's transition homes, and Founder of She Brews Coffee House, a coffee house in Claremore, Okla. that provides employment opportunities for women reentering society after struggling with problems like drug addiction, alcohol addiction, and incarceration. She is also the Women In Transition (WIT) Program manager for Stand in the Gap ministry, where she currently impacts over 100 women a year within the Oklahoma Department of Corrections and in multiple county jails. Rhonda came out of prison with a personal mission to help women and children in Oklahoma just as she was helped. She is the mother of three wonderful children, and 2nd Mother to 3 children, a grandmother to 5 grandsons and 2 granddaughters, and she is married to an amazing husband who is helping her achieve her dreams of sharing God's Love.  


Shaunte Gordon is the owner of She Does a Job with Integrity. Shaunte Gordon spent a total of 18 years in prison. Now she goes back into the prison through the Stand In The Gap organization getting to teach women in transition classes as a volunteer for prison ministry. She is a daughter, sister, aunt, mother, and grandmother, She uses her understanding from personal experience of what it means to be a woman in transitioning from prison to society. She celebrates over 10 years in recovery from a 14-year addiction. 






Dustie Dawn Sikes is in management at She Brews Coffee House. From homelessness and addiction to over 20 trips to jail, she was facing prison time and knew it was time for a change.  She wanted to save her life and get her children out of DHS and the time had come. Through hope and prayers, she was led to His House outreach ministries where she began employment at, She Brews Coffee House. She became a house manager and through constant prayer and hard work she gained full custody of her 2 amazing children. She is currently helping to start a new Ministry in Claremore with soon to be husband, Cole.




Penni Griggs was addicted to drugs for 24 years.  She was sent to prison in 2016 on drug charges and after former felonies. Today Penni manages a house for Rhonda Bear and His House outreach ministries.  She also is employed at Cherokee Nation as a Career Specialist.  Penni has received a 2-year sobriety chip and she is also a mentor for Stand in the Gap ministries.  She is committed to living for Jesus Christ and sharing how God broke the chains that bound her.



Drugs and alcohol were Sophia Carbajal’s outlet for years after suffering abuse from the one person who was supposed to love her and help her grow. Her story is a story of survival and moving from Victim to Victor. Sophia has served as a house manager at His House outreach ministries, a store manager of She Brews Coffee House and an overall General Manager for both ministries. She is restored to her daughter, grand-daughters, mother, and family through hard work and faith. From addict to example, you will be blessed as she shares her journey from prison-bound to broken chains.
